It’s Hagfish Day! Today we celebrate the ‘beauty of ugly’  once again. Sixteen years ago, WhaleTimes created Hagfish Day to raise awareness of all kinds of ocean animals, especially those that are less fortunate in the looks and behavior department. Why? All animals play an important role in their habitat, whether they’re as cute as a dumbo octopus or as slimy as a hagfish.
